 “Concerto Italiano” med pianist Luciano Bellini

Kveldens program går fra 1600-tallet gjennom den italienske instrumentalmusikken fram til idag. Konserten er delt i to deler: Første del, etter en kortere intruduksjon med barokkverk, er i hovedsak konsentrert om de store operakomponistene fra 1800-tallet, som også har skrevet mindre men briljante stykker for klaver man sjelden får høre. I del to, får vi først og fremst høre italienske verker fra 1900-tallet med komponister som har gjenskapt instrumentalmusikken etter at den italienske musikkscenen århundredet forut, var dominert av verker fra opera-verdenen.

LUCIANO BELLINI
Pianist, composer, conductor, Luciano Bellini has composed operas, symphonic, sacred, vocal, chamber and electronic music; author also of pieces of music for cinema, theatre and ballet; his works have been performed in almost all the Western Countries, in South America and in Middle and Far East, and have been also recorded by several national broadcasting stations and networks. Permanent conductor of Nova Philarmonia Orchestra in Rome and guest conductor or soloist for many European, Asian and Latin-American Orchestras and Institutions, until now he has performed nearly 150 world premières. He has conducted simphony orchestras in Rome, Sanremo, Lecce, Bari, Pescara, Chieti, L’Aquila, Halboorg, Bratislava, Brno, Ziilina, Kossige, Bucarest, Dnepropetrovsk, Antalja, Hanoi, Bangkpk, Manila. Damasco, Rio de Janeiro, S. Paulo, La Habana, Holguin.

He has performed as a pianist in Italy, England, Spain, Norvey, Germany, Finland, Estonia, Belarus, Polonia, Egipt, Luxembourg, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Corea, Vietnam, Singapor, Philippine, Barhain, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Cuba.

He has recorded several CDs both as a pianist and as a conductor; his music - edited by B&W Italia, EDIPAN, Rugginenti - is partially collected in other eight monographic CD and in several Radio and Television recordings.

In 1997 he founded the "Duo Bellini" with his son Luca, flutist, and together they have already performed in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. In 2008 he founded the “Duo Pianistico Italiano” with Antonella Vitelli.

He has worked together with many important artists such as Severino Gazzelloni, Claudia Antonelli, Massimo Quarta, Marco Rogliano, Guido Arbonelli, Federico Mondelci, Giuseppe Scotese, Vaklav Hudacek, Gabriella Tucci, Bruno Aprea, Giorgio Carnini, Dario Fo, Noa, Milva, Léo Ferré, Dulce Pontes, Maddalena Crippa, Piera degli Esposti, Cin Cin Gutierrez, Maria Faranduri.

He currently teaches at the Conservatory "A. Casella" in L'Aquila. He has also held Masterclasses in Conducting at the at the Federal University in Rio de Janeiro as well as at the Music Conservatory in Hanoi, Jakarta, Manila, Habana, London, Bangkok, Singapore; he also leads courses and in-depth seminars in piano and chamber music in various European, Asian and Latin-American centres.
