For the Italian film director, screenwriter and cartoonist Federico Fellini the world is a dreamlike circus, with different types of clowns, fool figures and spectators struggling to find a sense of meaning in the show. On the centenary of his birth, the 20th January 1920, we will celebrate exploring the felliniesque world reflecting on Fellini’s films and characters, with a look at some of the drawings from his Book of Dreams.
