Vincenzo Cipriani (1969) vil fremføre egne komposisjoner i en «cross over» sjanger, fra sine siste album “Sometimes It’s only og “Weke music for piano & string”. Cipriani bringer ulike musikksjangre inn i sine komposisjoner og hans mange reiser, spesielt til arabiske land, har vært med på å forme musikken hans. Resultatet er en slags kammermusikk med innslag av jazz, funk, pop, minimal og world music.

Vincenzo Cipriani was born in Bad-Canstatt (Stuttgart-Germany) on 12 October 1969, he is pianist, composer, organist and teacher at “E.R. Duni” Music Conservatory of Matera (Italy) – (ear training, jazz harmony, piano jazz, rhythmic of contemporary music).
In 2010 he produced the cd of his compositions “Weke music for piano & string” and in the spring 2017 will be released on new cd of his compositions “Eclectic Inside”.
He played his compositions with some famous Italian actors: Giancarlo Giannini, Michele Mirabella and Silvia D’Amico.
The compositions of Vincenzo Cipriani are mostly characterised by a descriptive language as well as composing style that is the result of a contamination of different music genres and forms like jazz, classic, modal, minimal and pop. The result is a particular kind of language that is able to involve a wider and heterogeneous audience.
He played his compositions in Lithuania in particular: at Šiauliai for the Resurrexit Festival and in Kèdainiai and Gargzdai with Siauliai State Chamber Choir Polifonija and the tenor Jonas Sakalauskas, in Vilnius for The Christopher Summer Festival, tournèe with the string orchestra of the Klaipèda’s Theatre for the XVII International Festival “Musical August at the Seaside” at Klaipèda, Palanga, Nida and Vilnius.
He played in international concerts for piano solo or piano and orchestra at: the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Cairo, at Muna of San Salvador and Theater of Santa Ana, Theatre of the IIC in Bruxelles with the orchestra of Music Conservatory of Matera, Hong Kong at Sha Tin Town Hall and Youth Square Y – Theatre, in Satu Mare (Romania) with the Orchestra Filarmonica Lipatti, Bangkok for the Bangkok International Piano Festival , at theatre of the Institut Italian of Culture in Beijing, Tinjin at Xiang Si Creative Design Center, Festival Euromediterraneo of Altomonte , tournèe with the Simphony Orchestra of Bari (Italy) for the concerts season 2012/2014/2015, Concert in Crotone Cathedral (Calabria – Italy) with “O. Stillo” string Orchestra, concerts in Egypt at El-Sawy Culture wheel in Cairo with the El-Sakia String Orchestra and at Great Hall of the Biblioteca Alexandria of Alexandria of Egypt with BA Chamber Orchestra, Adiyaman (Turchia) with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Adiyaman, Coitè – Salvador de Bahia (Brasil) with the Santo Antonio String Orchestra ”, Duni Festival – Matera with the Magna Grecia Orchestra of Taranto, etc…
He performs in concerts as a solist organist and in duo “pipe organ and sax” , following a program ranging from Bach to Piazzolla, C. Mingus, T. Monk, C. Parker, H. Hancock
