I samarbeid med Suono Italiano – et initiativ for å fremme dyktige unge italienske musikere i samarbeid med Det italienske kulturdepartementet, presenetrer vi duoen Duo Cristian Lombardi på fløyte og Gianluca Buonocore på piano.

Cristian Lombardi was born in Pompei (NA) in 2001. He started playing flute at the age of 10, guided by his father Salvatore Lombardi and subsequently by the teacher Antonio Senatore.
Despite his young age, he won the 1° prize in several Italian competitions such as “Concorso
Nazionale Per Giovani Solisti Di Sapri”, “Concorso Per Giovani Solisti Con Orchestra Da Camera Di Napoli”, “Concorso Europeo Jacopo Napoli” and “ Concorso Nazionale AMA CALABRIA”, obtaining a lot of scholarships. He also won some international competition as 1° prize at “Concorso Flautistico Internazionale Sergio Zampetti” of Saronno and at the Internationalen Wettbewerbs fur junge Flotistinnen und Flotisten”. Thanks to this German victory, he has been invited by “Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Flote e. V.” to join some initiatives as “Flute Days” at the musikhochschule of Munich in the 2019 and at the “Flute Festival 2020” as “rising star”. For him it has been very important to meet big musicians such as Michele Marasco, Patrick Gallois, Andrea Griminelli, Paolo Taballione, Francesco Loi and Davide Formisano.
Currently he is studying under the guidance of his mentor Jean-Claude Gèrard,and he is
continuing his Academic Studies at conservatory “G. Martucci” with M° Nicola Cappabianca
Gianluca Buonocore attends the piano bachelor at the conservatory “G. Martucci” of Salerno,
under the guide of the teacher Tiziana Silvestri. He won a lot of 1th prizes in international and european competitions such as “Città di Mercato San Severino, Jacopo Napoli di Cava de’ Tirreni, L. Mugnone Città di Caserta, Città di Eboli, Città di Baronissi, he obtained the 2th prize at Concorso pianistico internazionale di Vietri sul Mare. He performed in several important occasions such as Piano city, palazzo Zavallos di Napoli, Pianostop di Salerno and he took part at masterclasses with some important pianist like Pasquale Iannone, Andrea Lucchesini, Mats Widlund and Sergio de Simone.
