“Undecided” is a typical object which looks to a new way of office design as many other spaces: after the pandemic Covid 19, offices, as well as hotels, restaurants, retail spaces have to be re-designed, looking to new relations among people, spaces, furnitures, services, technologies. These new spaces will be more and more hybrid and flexible, going beyond the traditional categories and space typologies, and according to a global
sustainble vision. The lecture that Francesco Scullica and Elena Elgani (architect, Ph.d, adjunct professor at Politecnico di Milano- School of Design) are going to held during the IDD 2020, will underline how a new design approach will be necessary: “Undecided”, iconicaly represents this new way for many kind of users and for different spaces. Furthermore the lecture is also the result of a relevant research and design consultant activity on “hybrid spaces”, by Scullica and Elgani at Politecnico di Milano Design Department.
