Everyone has a good story, the best of these are told on our stage! Welcome to StorySLAM at SALT!
StorySLAM is a live storytelling competition where the storytellers have 8 minutes each to tell a true, self-experienced story.
Notes are not allowed – the stories must be told, not read aloud. Our host Audun Lunga guides the storytellers and the audience throughout the evening together with three juries, a professional jury and two randomly chosen audience juries. After each story, the storytellers receive points from 1-9 based on performance and content. The three storytellers who get the most points go on to a final where they tell a new story in a maximum of 3 minutes. The storyteller with the highest score after the finally will be the winner of the evening.
This event is organised in cooperation with EUNIC, the European network of organisations engaging in cultural relations from all EU member states. All stories will be told in English.
