I forbindelse med samarbeidsprosjektet «Italy – Norway Bilateral Residencies 2024 – 2025», er vi er glade for å kunne presentere en ny kunstnerresidens. Det dreier seg om et prosjekt til koreograf, danser, og lys- og kostymedesigner Nicola Galli , som vil finne sted i september 2025 i samarbeid med Bærum Kulturhus /Dance Southeast-Norway.
Samarbeidsprosjektet er et toårig utvekslingsprosjekt med fokus på norsk og italiensk samtidsdans, der de deltakerne patnerne er: NID New Italian Dance Platform, PAHN Performing Arts Hub Norway og Den norske ambassaden i Roma, i tillegg til Det italienske kulturinstitutt i Oslo. Gallis residens utgjør det tredje kunstprosjektet i dette samarbeidsprogrammet, etter residensen til Parini Secondo på BIT Teatergarasjen i Bergen, Marco D’Agostins residens i Bærum.
ABOUT NICOLA GALLI’S ARTISTIC PROJECT:
Nicola Galli’s new artistic project continues the research that the choreographer has been conducting since 2010 on the existence of the contemporary human being and the relation with the nature and landscape.
The increasingly strong necessity to redefine collectively a critical positioning of our living and to activate an ecosystemic thought that renovates the invisible relations that connect things leads the choreographer to investigate the shipwreck as a condition of our present, in order to look closely at the ruins of the world.
