Una rassegna organizzata dall’Eunic Norway in collaborazione con Cinemateket di Oslo e Bergen
La rassegna offre uno sguardo al paesaggio cinematografico contemporaneo in Europa. Dieci i film selezionati, di dieci registe provenienti da dieci paesi diversi. Le registe rappresentano in primo luogo se stesse e la propria visione filmica, e nel contempo le accomuna il fatto che i loro film sono tra i più interessanti degli ultimi anni.La rassegna avrà luogo a: Cinemateket di Oslo (12-30 novembre) Cinemateket di Bergen (9 novembre–14 dicembre)
Film di apertura: Le meraviglie (Italia, 2014) di Alice Rohrwacher.
Gelsomina, dodici anni, vive in campagna con la madre, il padre e le sorelle. Ha un talento speciale per il lavoro con le api, e come regina nel proprio regno di miele, s’arrabbia quando il padre prende a lavorare con sé un ragazzo difficile..

La regista:
Alice Rohrwacher (nata 1980) realizza nel 2003 il suo primo documentario, Un piccolo spettacolo, insieme a Pier Paolo Giarolo, mentre il suo esordio come regista di lungometraggi avviene nel 2011 con Corpo celeste. Le meraviglie è il suo secondo lungometraggio con il quale vince il Grand Prix Speciale della Giuria al Festival dei Cannes nel 2014.
La rassegna:
Yrke: regissør intends to offer Norwegian public the opportunity to enjoy the works of a new generation of European women filmmakers, whose first or second features represent, in our opinion, part of the best contemporary film production in Europe.
Yrke: regissør doesn’t want to be a celebration, but rather intends to contribute to let the new voices of European cinema be heard by a wider public. We firmly believe in the artistic quality of each work of Yrke: regissør, but at the same time we don’t intend to present or suggest a unity of intentions among these directors neither hint at the existence of a new cinematic movement in Europe. It is possible though to observe in many of these works, a realist, yet lyrical work that approaches social analysis with tact, sensitivity and depth, and often with an almost documentaristic touch that doesn’t neglect satire and sometimes surrealism.
With women representing only the 10% of film directors, Yrke: regissør gathers ten films with the intention to enhance women’s voices to be heard as well to open a window on refreshing and original perspectives on European society today.
